CalArts ID Cards

CalArts ID cards are issued to CalArts students, faculty, and staff.

Get your first card

1. Check your CalArts email for “CalArts ID - Please Upload a Photo.”
2. Follow the message to upload your photo.
3. If the invitation is missing or expired, contact cait@calarts.edu.
4. Follow the pickup instructions in your card notification.

What the card can be used for

• Official identification
• Library services
• Authorized rooms and spaces, according to your role
• Eligible meal plans and Flex dollars

Lost or stolen card

1. Contact Campus Safety to ask whether the card was found and report the loss.
2. If it cannot be recovered, contact the Facilities Front Office for a replacement.
3. Ask the Library and any meal-plan or Flex-dollar owner to associate the new card when required.

Damaged or incorrect card

Contact the Facilities Front Office when the printed card, barcode, or magnetic stripe is damaged or unreadable.
