Google Calendar appointment schedules let people book available times from a booking page. Booked appointments are added to your calendar. When availability checks are enabled, busy times are blocked from booking.
Create a schedule
- On a computer, open Google Calendar and select Create, then Appointment schedule.
- Set the schedule title, duration, availability, booking window, and calendar. Turn on calendar availability checks to avoid conflicts.
- Under Location and conferencing, choose one option for this schedule: Google Meet, in person, phone, or None/to be specified later. Add a description and save.
Offer in-person and virtual appointments
Each schedule is set up with a meeting location or conferencing choice. To offer both in-person and virtual appointments, create a separate schedule for each option.
To give people one link that presents all of your schedules on your primary calendar, share All booking pages. A single-booking-page link is for one schedule only. Google booking pages are public: anyone with the link can view the page, your account name, and profile photo. Share the link accordingly.
For Zoom or another third-party video service, Google’s documented setup is to choose None/to be specified later and add the conferencing details to the booked event afterward, or use an approved Calendar add-on. Do not promise that a Zoom link will be added automatically unless the integration has been confirmed for your account.
If expected times are missing
Check the schedule’s availability, time zone, booking window, daily booking limit, buffer time, and which calendars are checked for conflicts. Google’s default minimum lead time is four hours. Co-host calendars are not checked by default; include them in availability checks if needed.
