login.calarts.edu: How to Sign In (CalArts SSO)

Open a browser and go to: https://login.calarts.edu

• Enter your email address (example: yourname@calarts.edu)
  • Click Go
    
• Enter your password
  • Click Go

After signing in, you’ll be prompted for a verification code (2FA).

The default verification option is usually your Authenticator App.

If you want to use Email or Text Message (SMS) instead:

1. Click “Having trouble logging in? Try another method”

2. You’ll be routed through available options in this order:

1. Authenticator App

2. Email Authentication

3. SMS Authentication

3. If you choose Email or SMS codes, you will be asked to enter your password again

To use Email or SMS authentication, you need to have those saved in your profile.

1. Sign in to login.calarts.edu (you may need to use the Authenticator App temporarily)

2. Click the Profile icon (top-right)

3. Go to Profile Details

4. Click Edit

5. Add/update:

• Personal Email (for Email Authentication)

• Mobile (for SMS Authentication)

6. Save

It’s the verification code used for 2FA (from your Authenticator App, Email, or SMS).

During the transition, some apps have moved to the new SSO and some have not.

You may sign in to login.calarts.edu, then an app may still route you through the older login temporarily. This will reduce over time as more apps migrate.
