How Do I: Connect to CalArts WiFi

Important Notice: The CalArts network has been upgraded. This guide is specifically for connecting to the WiFi networks at CalArts’ Main Campus.

Why Are There 3 Different Networks?

CalArts on-campus wireless has three different networks: CalArts WiFi, CalArtsGuest, and CalArts Special

For our Students, Faculty, and Staff community CalArts WiFi is the best, most appropriate network to use. It replaces the old "CalArts" and "CASecure" networks.

In order to connect to CalArts WiFi one must use their CalArts E-Mail Address & SSO credentials. If you have forgotten your CalArts SSO credentials and need to have them reset please click here.

If you are a visitor, or someone who plans to have guests on-campus, they'll want to use CalArtsGuest.

If you need to register a Smart Device or gaming system, you'll use CalArts Special.

If you are a CalArtian and wish to connect a smart device via WiFi (gaming console, smart home devices, smart lights), you'll need to register the device on CalArtsGuest. See below for instructions.
