How to Use the Hub

The CalArts Hub ( is an internal website and mobile app that allows CalArts students, faculty and staff to share information in a user-friendly format (especially familiar to those who have used Facebook). The Hub helps enhance communications and provides a sense of community.

The latest version of the Hub will:

  • Allow for the dissemination of campus-wide announcements and alerts;
  • Provide easy access to CalArts email, calendars and G-Suite;
  • Highlight the latest CalArts 24700 news and social media updates;
  • Houses quick links to other systems including Hubtime (timesheets), Hub Helper, Course Catalog, Self-Service, etc.
  • Allow committees, student groups, faculty groups, etc. to create their own online home that can be populated with content, announcements, events, files and discussions. These groups can then manage their own sites.
