VistaVillage (Main Secure Network)
Who Should Use This?
Employees, staff, and students.
How to Connect:
• Select “VistaVillage” from the list of available networks.
• You will be prompted to accept the wifi.calarts.edu certificate.
• Enter your CalArts credentials to authenticate.
• You should now be connected to the secure network.
VistaVillage Guest (Guest Network)
Who Should Use This?
Visiting artists and guests
How to Connect:
• Select “VistaVillage Guest” from the available networks.
• A splash page will appear. Click the Login button to connect.
• The connection will last for 24 hours. After that, you will need to reconnect.
VistaVillage-S (Special Devices Network)
Who Should Use This?
Devices like smart TVs that cannot connect to 802.1x authenticated networks.
How to Connect:
• This is a hidden SSID and will not appear in the WiFi list.
• If you have a device that needs to connect to this network, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
Troubleshooting Tips
Forget the Network: If you’re having trouble connecting, try forgetting the “VistaVillage” network, then reconnect by accepting the WiFi certificate and entering your credentials.
Cancel and Retry: If the connection fails, click CANCEL on the WiFi connection screen and try reconnecting.
Reboot Device: As a last resort, reboot your device and attempt to connect again.
