FileCloud is a powerful and secure file-sharing solution that allows our Institute community to streamline collaboration, access files from anywhere, and ensure data security. Whether you are a student, faculty member, or staff, FileCloud offers you a robust platform for sharing and managing files.
In this article, we will walk you through the process of getting started with FileCloud.
Accessing FileCloud
To begin using FileCloud, go to sso.calarts.edu
Sign in using your CalArts SSO credentials, and select the FileCloud tile in the SSO Dashboard.

You can also go to filecloud.calarts.edu and sign in with your SSO Credentials.
To upload files, click on the "Upload" button or drag and drop files directly into the dashboard.

You can also create folders to organize your files by clicking the "New Folder" button.
To share a file or folder, select the item you want to share, click the "Share" button, and enter the email addresses of the recipients.
Set access permissions (view, edit, or download) and add an optional message.
Click "Share" to send the sharing invitation.

FileCloud prioritizes data security. Your files are encrypted both in transit and at rest.
You have full control over who can access your files and what they can do with them.
