This afternoon our Network Operations team identified a software issue inside of the wireless network that necessitates immediate and broad maintenance, beginning at 5:00PM PST with expected completion by 8:00PM PST.
We will be utilizing an upgrade method designed specifically to drastically minimize any service disruption during this process, and as such CAIT is very interested in any abnormal behavior you may experience during this maintenance window.
What: Wireless Network Maintenance
When: Thursday, August 30th, 5:00PM - 8:00PM PST
Why: Necessary immediate remediation of a software bug
Expected Impact: Minimal, if any. CAIT expects, at most, 7 minutes of downtime in rare instances. Please contact email@example.com if you do happen to notice a service disruption.
