LinkedIn Learning (Formerly Lynda.com)

With LinkedIn Learning, the same great content from Lynda.cοm is delivered through an intuitive, new learning experience that's more personalized and easy-to-use.

If you need access to LinkedIn Learning, first check out the process for requesting a license.

LinkedIn Learning access for Faculty and Staff are open-ended two week terms. This basically means that your account will be active for at least two calendar weeks, and will be dependent upon demand beyond that point. Of course when your term does expire you can always submit a new request for access and be placed immediately in the queue. If you do not receive the LinkedIn Learning welcome email within a few hours be sure to let us know so we can try re-sending it!

After you've been granted a license, you will receive an email from LinkedIn.

Either this one:

Or this one:

Once you find that email, open it up and click either "Activate account now" or "Get started now".

If you can't find your Welcome Email be sure to check your spam folder. If you still have no luck finding it just send a quick note to cait@calarts.edu letting us know and we can manually re-send the email.

If this is your first experience with LinkedIn Learning:

You have the option of linking your CalArts LinkedIn Learning account with an existing LinkedIn Account.

If you choose Connect my LinkedIn account, simply sign in using your existing credentials.

If you choose not to link your LinkedIn Account to LinkedIn Learning, you will have to enter an email verification code. Enter your email address in the box and select Send Verification Code.

Verify the code and enter a new password for your LinkedIn Learning account.

You'll then be prompted to sign in with your new account credentials.

If you're re-activating your CalArts LinkedIn Learning account:

If you've used LinkedIn Learning in the past, you should then be prompted to sign in with your account.

After signing in, you should be good to go!
