2016.09.19 Service Disruption: Internet Connection

3:52pm PST - Latency issues have subsided and Cogent has removed the incident from it's status report


 

3:13pm PST - Cogent has issued a status update stating that the issue was a fiber cut and they have an estimated repair time of 2 hours.


1:15pm PST -  Cogent has issued a status update stating that their Network Operations Center is working to identify the source of the outage.

 


12:00pm PST - Our internet service provider, Cogent, has issued a status update confirming an outage in the Greater Los Angeles area. We will continue to update this article with further information.


 

IT is actively investigating an unplanned service disruption. As we have more information we will update this article, our Twitter feed, and Facebook page.
