11/18 10:40PM PST: All servers have now been patched and are confirmed operational.
11/18 10:00PM PST: As of approximately 9:30PM PST the servers that run the Hub, WebAdvisor, and UI have returned to normal operation.
Earlier today Microsoft posted a critical server security patch that will require immediate action by CalArts IT. Along with this new patch Microsoft has posted additional updates to the critical patch that occurred last Friday that also require immediate action.
Beginning at 4PM PST CalArts IT will be updating our server infrastructure as quickly as is feasible and prudent. Customer services will be affected as servers are brought down for maintenance. We will do everything in power to be expedient and minimize any unnecessary impact. As we develop a schedule for service maintenance we will post it to this article.
We expect the customer impact of this maintenance to conclude at approximately 11PM PST. However, if an extended period is required we will update our community on this page and through Twitter.

- 6:00PM to 9:00PM PST - Colleague servers will be unavailable. The Hub, WebAdvisor, and UI will be unavailable during this time.
